In a few short weeks we will be moving into our new home and it looks like we will be able to enjoy drinks on the deck after moving on the first night. Above is a picture of the progress on the deck as of today.

Andrew is doing great! It’s hard to believe that he will be five weeks old tomorrow. At our last Dr. appointment he weighed in at 6 pounds 7.5 ounces. His biliruben level had gone up from 10 to 11.5, so the Dr. had us put him on formula for 24 hours to drop it down again. Once it gets to 7 or 8 and stays there we will be in the clear. If it continues to go up we’ll have to visit a specialist. Tuesday we go back to have it checked again.
After two trips to the Dr. on Tuesday, we just finally found out that Andrew is doing fine. At his first appointment on Tuesday the Dr. thought that he still looked a bit jaundice, so we headed up to the lab for a test. Came home and a couple of hours later got a call from the Dr. saying that he wanted us to come back for more blood work to be done and that he was going to be sending the results to Abbott for them to check everything out. In the meantime, we’ve been supplementing each feeding with a bottle of formula. The Dr. just called and all of the tests came back negative, but he wants Andrew to be on only formula for the next 12 hours. He said that it could be the breast milk that is preventing the red blood cells from flushing out of his system.
